AURIS (aura·is)

Carissa Meiring, otherwise known as Auris, is a South African deep and progressive house DJ currently residing in Cape Town.

In March 2022, Auris pivoted her sets to new heights, crafting mixes to focus on more creamy seamless productions, which shape healing journeys for her listeners. Combining yoga, meditation and healing through dance is where Auris is uniquely positioned in the industry. Her recent appearances include AfrikaBurn 2022, Urban Oasis and Equinox and include opening sets for 2 fellow South African artists - Jessie Clegg and Watershed.

Auris’ style and sound can be likened to European deep house and Ambient/Armenian electronic “Buddha House.” Auris’ mixes attract listeners that yearn for depth, atmosphere and curated music that affect the aura positively. Listeners immerse themselves into a seamless sonic journey of healing, love & empowerment - a place where dreams meet reality.

Nemeton (neme·ton)

After attending a DJ academy after school during the height of the “rave scene”, Nemeton honed his skills on the 1’s and 2’s, living and DJ’ing at clubs in Jozi, the UK and the US. Relatively new to the Cape Town club scene, Nemeton has recently played at Genesis, Camel Rock, Equinox, Urban Oasis and The Cape Farm House.

Nemeton is no stranger to festivals either with appearances at AfrikaBurn and OppiKoppi. His mixes have been featured on various online global radio shows with rave reviews. All of this allows Nemeton to have a unique understanding of music, party culture and a vast array of influences and styles to tap into.

His passion lies in progressive, electro techno and desert tech and loves to dabble in the deeper, darker side of dirty techno and tech house. Nemeton breaks the mold with his upbeat, energy induced electro infused sets.

Nemeton; meaning ‘sacred grove’ or ‘sanctuary’, provides a sonic haven for your listening pleasure.
