‘Sand, Moon & Stars’ features in a documentary about football club UD Ibiza
Carl Cox has released a track in honor of Ibiza.
‘Sand, Moon & Stars’ is Carl Cox’s latest release and pays tribute to Ibiza and the island’s football club, UD Ibiza.
The new tune, a gorgeous house cut, is the title music for Club Ibiza: The Sessions, a five-part football documentary series from streaming platform DAZN.
Music from Anna Tur and Manu Gonzalez also features in the doc, which covers the rise of UD Ibiza and follows their football fans. You might be familiar with Manu from when he played a DJ set at UD Ibiza’s stadium when Barcelona visited.
On the track, Coxy said: “I am delighted to be a part of this Ibiza story. It’s a magical place where the islanders have always made me feel very welcome. This original track was made with the Ibizan football team in mind. The spirit, power and soul of Ibiza is the sound of celebration, which brings people together. That is ‘Sand, Moon & Stars’.
