ABOUT JUAN THYME

I am one of the original Mutha FM legends who has been with the station from the very beginning in the pirate radio days when I was producing music with African Dope Records. After years of playing globally at a plethora of clubs, festivals and parties.

As I travel around the globe I will be broadcasting from various locations (or recording them for future broadcast). I will feature special guest DJ’s and producers along my travels Hit like on the Radio Love Facebook page for show updates and to hear previous broadcasts..

We are Polo-Jaffa. We are from the Cambridge/Leeds areas. We produce and DJ a wide range of electronic music from breaks, garage, jungle, house, afro tech. We recently played a set at SGP where we spun a load of unreleased dubs that we had been making over the last year. Prior to that we held our first event for our record label FOUR AM records in Nottingham back in spring. We have played events up north and in Cambridgeshire over the last year with many all night long parties in Leeds. Production wise we have released two songs under our duo, and are looking at releasing an EP in autumn this year. We have been played on BBC introducing, getting track of the week for our song “anybody but u’ and doing our second summer of recording a “sounds of summer mix” for them to air on the show.
