Psyco Mike is a DJ with 22 years experience & started out DJ-ing from the age of 18 on turn tables in the hard house genre. From age of 21, he was more work focused and left DJj-ing for some time and travelled to the U.K.

However, DJ-ing never left him, as once he was there, he connected with some Vinyl Only Dj’s who were playing at events all around London and kept his DJ spirit alive and kicking. Whipping out some tracks at private functions with them and loving every minute of it.  Returning home to SA he was on and off for a few years still connected to friends in the scene in SA & abroad.

In the last 3 and a half years he has been a resident DJ for an exclusive private location up the west coast at “Oasis of Dreams” an invite only event where he reignited the flame within his soul to take his DJ-ing career further.

Now with that flame burning big in his soul he has taken his career head on and has recently been on the line up for his first outdoor gig at Vortex in December 2022 with more gigs in his cross hairs. 

Psyco Mike is very passionate about music and it is and always has been his first love.  Psy-Trance was not his thing until one day he went to his first outdoor event Vortex Phoenix Festival of Fire 7 years ago and that was the moment he fell head over heels in love with Psy – Trance. 

In recent months he has also started producing for filling his growing passion for the genre learning more and more from so many friends pushing him to where he is today. 

What you can expect:

Join Psyco-Mike on Tuesdays from 6pm – 9pm for a ride among the stars of the trance-a-verse and a hint of techno with guest dj’s mixing up some amazing beats , track releases from various artists and an all-round Psy experience to entertain your ears for 3 hours. Sure to get you in the mood to groove on the Stomping Ground.
