Reloop have launched a new two-channel mixer called ELITE – specifically designed for use with Serato. Made for DVS users, the mixer features 16 RGB, velocity sensitive pads to control up to 12 performance modes in Serato DJ Pro. There are three Innofader Pro faders, two effects units for controlling Serato’s built-in effects as well as two Tweak Effects controls that work in standalone mode, in the familiar bi-polar way.
Round back there are two USB ports for easy switchovers and the usual phono/line inputs, TRS booth outs and XLR main outputs. Two OLED screens offer info like bpm, selected effects and loop functionality. Two ‘Smart Link’ USB ports allow connection of extra MIDI controllers, storage media or any USB compatible kit. Round front there’s control over the mics and sampler input levels and two headphone ports.
Overall it’s a comprehensive mixer, clearly designed with performance in mind and to complement Reloop’s new RP-8000 MK2 turntable. It’ll cost £1,100 and comes with the full version of Serato DJ Pro and two control vinyl.
