Yes, we are literally thrilled to have been around for over two decades as South Africa’s first streaming Internet Radio Station and Electronic Music Media Platform.
The journey has not been easy by any standards, but every challenge has shaped us into who we are today. Moving into our 23rd year of broadcasting is something truly special for all of us at Mutha FM, and it wouldn’t have been possible without all the DJs, artists, team members, and listeners who’ve been part of our story.

On 29 November 2025, Mutha FM proudly celebrates 23 years of broadcasting on the digital airwaves. Since our launch on 19 November 2002, we’ve hosted hundreds of shows and welcomed an incredible roster of local, national, and international DJs, each bringing their unique sound to our listeners.
