On 29 November 2025, Mutha FM proudly celebrates 23 years of broadcasting on the digital airwaves.
Since launching on 19 November 2002 as South Africa’s pioneering electronic music platform, Mutha FM has been home to hundreds of shows featuring hundreds of local, national, and international DJs.

This year’s celebration marks the beginning of an Annual tradition on this date – an event dedicated to showcasing both established and emerging talent to a worldwide online audience.
In preparation for this milestone, Mutha FM has joined forces with one of Cape Town’s fastest-growing and established venues in the Mutha City which carries the legacy of the Cape Town scene and the spirit of Mutha FM itself. The celebration will take place at Biblio sound bar & club venue.
We call upon the entire Cape Town Electronic Dance Music Family – DJs, Producers, Artists, Promoters, and you the legendary Clubbing Generations from the early ’90s up to present today-to unite in celebrating the Love we’ve all shared for more than three decades.
