Derek Daly got introduced to dance music in Cape Town 1992, frequenting clubs such as Eden, Uforia, Deviate & Funk E House. He started DJing in 1994, playing at events such as Vortex, MCQP, Gaia Tek & Pharcyde. In his years abroad, he played at the unofficial FA Cup afterparty at the Black Bull pub in Chelsea, London, Lorne Walton’s Babel events in Oban, Scotland, as well as various islands in Greece. In 2002, he won a Battle of the DJs competition on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.
He started producing his own music in 1999.

Inner Motion’s track’s were created by Derek in 2002 which were never released until now. Sadly he has not found the separate tracks yet so here is a mix meantime, cut into 2. Downloaders will receive these tracks when/if Derek manage’s to find them.

I met Derek in Cape Town 1992, when I came over with my Head Strong Production DJ Team,  he was performing at a many of the early nightclubs and events from Deviate to Pharcyde Productions the Cape Town scene. He stood out to me as he has the passion and love for the music in his heart, and we became friends.
