ABOUT DJ Juice
Born and bred on the Cape flats of South Africa started his DJ career at age 14.
Focused on turntablism and the battle DJ scene, he has a few accolades under his belt including top 6 battle DJ’s at the South African DMC championships – Playing sets all over the city, country and abroad. Predominantly Hip Hop, but not limited to, DJ Juice is known for his eclectic sets mixing different genre seamlessly using technical/battle tricks and keeping the floor happy.
In 2006 he joined the Mutha FM team and has been logged on ever since.
The Junk Yard with DJ Juice is an Urban music show, expect reggae/dancehall, drum & bass, dubstep, jazz, R&B, house and a lot more – Hip Hop culture play’s an important part of the show structure.

The Show kicks off with some laid back R&B,mid tempo type beats relaxing to the ear and weekend convo.
This segment is dedicated to Hip Hop Culture – we play track submissions and new finds from local / international artist giving them exposure to our listeners and giving our listeners something new to listen to. DJ Juice also drops some of his all time favorite Jams and on occasion Guest DJ mixes from top class turntablist DJ’s
Here we uplift the spirits, bringing groovy house music and guest mixes that gets the blood flowing.
Reggae, Roots, Dancehall, Reggaeton Riddem to ease you back into your Sunday yet keeping the Vibes fresh
We close off the show by waking up nostalgia, playing all the sing along tunes from yesteryear – music that brings back memories. This session is very interactive, our listerners get to request a song they want to hear and give their memory of the song.
