The new controller has been built from the previous RX2 model

The new XDJ-RX3 DJ system has finally been announced by Pioneer and will be available in early December.

This all-in-one controller has been built from the previous RX2 model to offer a huge range of features from its classic CDJs and DJ mixers and combine a quality suitable for not only mobile performance but also home use and even small venues.

With its two-channel system and improved processing speed, this XDJ model simplifies the browsing plus track-loading process.

What is most impressive is its 10.1-inch touchscreen as this is not just Pioneer DJ’s largest screen, but it is also high resolution whilst including the CDJ-3000’s playlist navigation tool.

Users will now have access to Touch Preview so that they can listen to any section of a track without having to load it to the deck.

The two channels have eight performance pads per deck so that they can control a selection of eight release effects from vinyl brake, echo out, build up and ducking. This means that the complete range of effects of the XDJ-RX3 can match the performance-ready standard of the DJM-900NXS2.

Each jog wheel also has an LCD display so users can access track information and player settings clearly.

The XDJ-RX3 has a variety of inputs including an auxiliary input for connecting turntables, phones, and other devices. It also supports inputs with stereo mini-jack, a pair of line and phono inputs.

With three USB ports, it can be used for back-to-back performance and two mic inputs for MCing and other types of broadcasting.

The system also includes the Performance mode of rekordbox, a cloud-connected DJ platform suitable for DJs at all levels for free.

The XDJ-RX3 will retail for $1999 (Aprox R29985.00) and to be shipped in early December, you can order here.
